I recommend the average end-user to use OpenSource applications like Mozilla Firefox browser, Brave browser, LibreOffice package, Thunderbird Email Client and Ecosia Search Engine (which is using data from Microsoft Bing).
Especially about Ecosia: In the event you claim to be an environmental citizen, you would use Ecosia as your default and preferred search engine rather than Google...
I also recommend you to have a licensed version of an (third-party) Internet Security Application.
